Medication Technician 2nd and 3rd Shift

Medication Technician responsible for administering medications, direct resident and tenant care, and contributing to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Requirements

• Administer medications in accordance with the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Monitor residents/tenants for side effects or adverse reactions
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Review and follow each resident’s/tenant’s Individualized Service Plan (ISP)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe living environment
• Assist dietary staff with meal setup and tray delivery
• Support the activities team by encouraging resident participation and assisting with events
• Serve as a mentor and trainer to new caregiving staff
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all resident information in compliance with HIPAA
