Accountant

The Accountant I is responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the accurate valuation of inventory and reporting accuracy of other assets and liabilities for Plexus. They will focus on fundamental accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, data entry, and assist in preparation of financial statements.

Requirements

• Prepare and complete financial transactions (AR/AP/GL/Fixed Assets/Interco/Address Book/Banking etc.) timely and accurately according to accounting processes and procedures.
• Analyze general ledger accounts for accuracy, extraordinary or unusual items.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts to comply with SOX requirements.
• Prepare weekly and month end journal entries to ensure accurate account balances.
• Work on special continuous improvement projects as requested to resolve problems or generate productivity improvement
