Job Description
The Production Planner is responsible for ensuring efficient and effective utilization of resources, materials, and labor in the production process to execute the master production schedule.
Requirements
- Understand overall capacity loading requirements and needs of the factory.
- Establish and review the production schedule to ensure customer commitments and the needs of Plexus are met.
- Monitor the amount of material released to prevent excess inventory.
- Monitor production schedule performance to ensure the plan is on track, resolve any exceptions.
- Able to resolve challenges through detailed instruction, policy and procedures.
