Product Development Sourcing Manager

Role Overview

The Product Development Sourcing Manager role is a key bridge between the engineering and materials functions, working closely with Engineers and Project Managers to ensure on-time and on-budget design projects. This role will manage the collaboration between material sourcing and product development to achieve Customer Service Excellence.

What You Will Do

Support Engineering and Customer Management during the planning and concept development phases of product development, provide cost estimations for custom engineered components, manage Bill of Materials (BOM) cost, and lead supplier negotiations and management of part costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6 or more years of related experience
• Experience in developing systems and procedures
• Experience in development & testing, product development procedures & concepts like Benchmarking, Reverse Engineering
• Proven negotiation and project management skills
• Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization
• Strong data analysis and Decision-making capabilities
