Plus Power is an energy storage market leader seeking a Senior Preconstruction Project Engineer to join the Preconstruction Team within the Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) department. The role involves evaluating the technical feasibility of project opportunities, advancing projects through the development process, and into execution. The team is looking for a data-driven and fact-based mindset, engaging and collaborative behaviors, and personal growth-focused professionals.
Requirements
- Assess energy storage technologies and site layout options
- Analyze, assess, and present project technical risks and determination of de-risking solutions
- Develop project capital and operational cost estimates and milestone schedules
- Provide technical and project management support throughout the development cycle
- Support offtake, equipment procurement, as well as engineering and construction contracting activities
- Experience reviewing engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a cross-functional environment
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to analyze complex information and make sound, timely choices aligned with organizational goals
- Persuasive, clear, and concise writing and presentation skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in the Microsoft suite of tools and applications
