LPN-Per Diem-Plantation, FL

The Licensed Practical or Vocation Nurse (LPN/LVN) role is responsible for providing pediatric care and assisting with primary patient care in a pediatric urgent care setting.

Requirements

• Pediatric experience is required
• Active state nursing license or active compact state licensure
• Prior experience and competency with nursing procedures
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) recommended
• Knowledge of medical practice and terminology
• Ability to use sound reasoning and judgment and act calm in emergencies
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and nonverbally
