Medical Assistant (Part-time) Annapolis, MD & Crofton, MD

The Medical Assistant is responsible for all departmental functions aligned with the mission, vision, and goals of PM Pediatrics. The role is an opportunity for a pediatric medical assistant to apply their skills in a pediatric urgent care setting and assist with primary patient care based on individual patient needs within their scope of practice under the physician’s direct supervision.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior experience and/or education as a Medical Assistant
• Knowledge or EKG placement and processing in children
• Ability to obtain laboratory tests via nasal swab, and venipuncture
• Demonstrate a professional and friendly demeanor
• Strong communications and organizational skills
• Prior pediatric experience
• Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with computers, Microsoft Office Suite
• Willing to learn medical software
• Experience with medical records preferred
