Job Description
As a Security Specialist at PNC, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and mitigating application security risks throughout the software development lifecycle. You will also be responsible for maintaining a thorough understanding of OWASP Top 10 web application risks and providing guidance on mitigation strategies to relevant teams.
Requirements
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Software development background in Java and/or.net
- Comprehensive knowledge of application security
- OWASP Top 10 web application risks knowledge
- Proficiency in triaging and remediating web application security vulnerabilities
- Familiarity with IAST, RASP, or ADR
- Experience in incident response pertaining to application attacks
- Manually validating compensating controls
- Collaborating with application and engineering teams
