Weekend Material Controller

Role Overview

Material Controllers play a critical role in keeping production moving efficiently and on schedule. They support the flow of materials throughout the warehouse and production floor, ensuring the right materials are available at the right time to support mission-critical programs for the U.S. Navy and global maritime customers.

What You Will Do

Coordinate the movement, tracking, and availability of materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting production schedules. Proactively resolve material issues, maintain inventory accuracy, and collaborate effectively with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Warehouse teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of shipping/receiving experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production control environment (or equivalent)
• Proficiency with computers (Microsoft Word, Excel, and ERP/work process software such as Jobscope or Visibility)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
