Job Description
Point72 is seeking a dedicated data engineer intern for a 10-week summer internship. The intern will work on design, build, and maintain data processing pipelines, working closely with investment professionals and researchers. The internship provides mentorship, access to resources, and hands-on experience using cloud-computing technologies.
Requirements
- Pursuit of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (computer science, maths, engineering)
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python (with an emphasis on Pandas, PySpark, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and project management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
