Job Description
Point72’s Market Intelligence Team is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and support data pipelines and tools for investment professionals. This role involves extracting insights from complex data sets using big data technologies, collaborating with research teams, and staying at the forefront of technological advancements. The team focuses on compliance-approved structured and unstructured data sets.
Requirements
- Experience or demonstrated interest in big data technologies
- 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related field
- Strong experience in Python Development
- Experience with Spark or Scala
- Ability to devise novel and innovative solutions to challenges
