Powertrain Design Engineer

Powertrain Design Engineer position at Polaris Inc. leading design and release of engine components and systems from concept to production. The job involves establishing project development schedules, determining manufacturing methods, creating 3D models, and coordinating engineering efforts across global teams.

Requirements

• B.S in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or equivalent
• 3-6 years minimum related design experience in an O.E. Environment
• Experience with a 3-D CAD modeling package, Creo preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude, experience with powertrain design categories
• Experience with specification creation, design processes (GD&T, FMEA, DVP&R, DRBFM)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills
