Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician will help operate and maintain all building systems and troubleshoot operations failures. This position involves moving between various locations as needed, offering maintenance and repair services across multiple properties or facilities.

Requirements

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Make adjustments and changes to HVAC and related equipment
• Perform general repairs, maintenance, and replacement of building components
• Maintain operation logs and files
• Apply well-developed knowledge and skills in HVAC distribution and controls
• Provide prompt and courteous responses to tenant requests
• Maintain ethical, professional, and courteous relations with contractors and tenants
• Establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with the entire operation staff
• Demonstrate full competency in all current company and property emergency procedures
• Assist with directing building occupants with evacuations
• Assist with life safety system alarms
• Assist emergency authorities and response teams
• Utilize fire alarm and life safety systems at the assigned property
• Adhere to all company and property policies and procedures
• Actively participate in required training activities and seminars
• Apply knowledge of how each of the components in the building systems relates operationally to one another
• Identify potential causes for failure of a system(s) and prioritize repair process
