The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on equipment and systems used in composite manufacturing.
Requirements
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and perform repairs on manufacturing machinery and facility systems.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on a wide variety of production and support equipment.
- Fabricate and weld replacement parts, brackets, and fixtures as needed to support equipment repairs and modifications.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
- Install, adjust, and calibrate new and existing production equipment.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Collaborate with operators and engineers to ensure machines operate safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all OSHA and company safety regulations, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and PPE protocols.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of spare parts and maintenance tools.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and suggest enhancements for equipment performance.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
- Monitor and achieve established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as production output, quality standards, efficiency, and safety compliance, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with company goals.
