Senior Engineer

As a Senior Engineer at Polygon Labs, you'll focus on strengthening the peer-to-peer networking capabilities across three core clients, ensuring network reliability and performance of the Polygon PoS chain. You'll design, implement, and optimize peer-to-peer networking components, analyze and improve network stability, and collaborate with internal teams to align client behavior with network goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in systems or infrastructure engineering, ideally working on distributed systems or blockchain clients
• Deep expertise in Go (Golang), with strong knowledge of networking libraries, protocols (TCP/UDP), and debugging tools
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems in live production systems with a proactive, ownership-first mindset
• Experience working on peer-to-peer networking protocols or low-level infrastructure systems
• Comfortable working in a remote, asynchronous environment across time zones
