Pope Saint John Paul II Preparatory School is seeking a passionate and mission-driven Dean of Students. The Dean of Students addresses behaviors inside and outside the classroom through restorative practices that view consequences as opportunities for growth in holiness and self-mastery.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- M.A. in Education, Theology, or related field preferred
- Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church, or demonstrated commitment to and deep understanding of Catholic education and mission
- Minimum of five years of classroom teaching experience, preferably in a Catholic school setting
- Prior leadership/supervision experience preferred
- Knowledge of Catholic social teaching, virtue ethics, restorative justice practices, and positive behavioral interventions aligned with Gospel values
- Strong conflict resolution skills rooted in dignity, mercy, and justice
- Excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal, and communication skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to build productive relationships with faculty, students, and parents grounded in respect, charity, and a service-oriented approach
- Strong data management skills including use of SIS and Google Workspace
- Commitment to ongoing formation in Catholic educational leadership
