Head Women's Basketball Coach - High School

Pope Saint John Paul II Preparatory School is seeking a Head Women’s Basketball Coach to develop and implement a comprehensive basketball program aligning with the school's mission and values. The head coach will oversee all aspects of the program, build meaningful connections with students, parents, and the school community, and promote the program within the school.

Requirements

• Serve as the face of the women’s basketball program
• Promote the women’s basketball program within the school community
• Ensure compliance with the rules and regulations of the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA)
• Lead and manage all aspects of the women’s basketball program
• Manage the women’s basketball program operations
• Provide leadership and guidance to coaches at all program levels
• Collaborate with the coaching staff to implement new ideas and approaches
• Actively seek out and identify coaching talent
• Provide mentorship, support, and professional development opportunities to assistant coaches
• Organize and oversee youth clinics, summer camps, and summer development programs
• Build connections with middle school students
• Foster a team culture built on the school’s mission and values
• Build rapport and strong relationships with all student-athletes on the team
• Monitor the academic performance of student-athletes
• Guide and support student-athletes pursuing women’s basketball at the collegiate level
• Maintain relationships with coaches and recruiters
