Job Description
Popli Design Group is seeking a Transportation Construction Inspector for their NICET I position in Syracuse, NY. The role involves assisting with inspections on transportation projects, providing data collection, and conducting on-site testing. Requirements
- Assist in Inspection progress of basic construction operations (Earthwork, Pavement).
- Collection of field data (using simple survey techniques, GPS and other tools of the trade).
- Recognize unsafe construction procedures and site conditions.
- Inspect erosion control and protection of environmental features.
- Assist in inspection of basic work zone traffic control set ups.
- Basic computer skills.
