Back End Systems QA Engineer

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven QA Engineer to support our global e-commerce initiatives. The ideal candidate will be able to define and enforce testing strategies that lead to predictable and successful web development initiatives that continually improve our global e-commerce business.

Requirements

• 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2+ years focused on e-commerce testing
• Familiarity with e-commerce order to fulfillment end-to-end processes
• Strong understanding of web application testing concepts including HTTP, REST, cookies, session handling, etc.
• Ability to create and maintain automated testing tools
• Proficiency with AI coding assistants for test development and troubleshooting
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, pyTest, or similar)
• SQL proficiency for validating data across multiple systems
• Familiarity with message queues or event-driven architectures (Azure Service Bus, Anypoint MQ, Kafka, or similar)
• Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset—able to work closely with developers and stakeholders
• Familiarity with Jira, test case management tools, and agile development practices
