Job Description
The Delivery Driver's primary responsibility is providing direct to customer deliveries for different customers of Metro Supply Chain, creating a positive customer experience by understanding and meeting the customers' needs, and following Metro Supply chain's standards.
Requirements
- Valid âClass 5â driver license with a clean driver abstract.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in delivery and installation of appliances and furniture.
- Minimum of 3 yearsâ experience as a class 5 delivery driver in a time-sensitive, customer interfacing environment preferred.
- Experience operating a 26-foot cube truck.
- Experience or comfortable using an on-board GPS navigation system.
- Must agree to a criminal background and credit check.
- Airbrake certificate is an asset.
