Job Description
A well-established European metal cutting machine tool builder and importer is seeking a Machine Tool Service Technician to join their Charlotte, NC team. This is a remote position focused on customer-facing troubleshooting and repair of production metal cutting machines, with occasional travel to customer sites. The company is a subsidiary of a European leader and emphasizes continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Experience with machinery, specifically metal cutting machinery service.
- Understanding of CNC and PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatic, and lubrication systems.
- Understanding of metal cutting processes.
- Good customer interaction skills.
- Ability to travel - 50-60% of time, often weekend stays.
