Job Description
Porto Digital seeks a Software Engineer to support urban digital transformation and contribute to the implementation of innovation and digital transition strategies. The ideal candidate will have leadership and technical mentoring experience, as well as a strong understanding of programming languages, architecture patterns, and cloud and infrastructure knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Network and Systems Engineering, Informatics, or similar fields
- Minimum 7 years of experience in software development, with previous experience in technical leadership or architecture roles
- Solid knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java, Python, Node.js) and architecture patterns (Microservices, API First, etc.)
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes concepts to facilitate communication with DevOps
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and versioning tools (Git)
- Experience in system integration and complex API consumption
