Posh is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of 5-8 engineers building the technology behind our mission to bring people together through shared, real-world experiences.
Requirements
- Lead and grow a pod of 5–8 engineers through mentorship, performance management, and technical direction.
- Identify high-slope talent, make hard decisions on low performers, and establish & execute against a clear hiring strategy.
- Achieve the closest possible thing to building a perfect product.
- Align with cross-functional stakeholders to highlight the importance/prioritize non-customer facing work.
- Actively participate in RFC reviews, architectural discussions, and system design conversations.
- Raise and maintain a high bar for code quality, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with leadership & product management to translate product strategy/features into clear technical plans.
- Proactively introduce and evaluate new technologies pragmatically.
