Bilingual Clinic Office Associate

Positive Impact Health Centers is seeking a bilingual Clinic Office Associate to work in their Jonesboro, GA location. The role involves serving patients, scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and providing a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical front office environment, basic medical billing knowledge, and fluency in both English and Spanish.

Requirements

• Answer multiple phone lines in a professional and courteous manner
• Check in patients and complete patient registration
• Manage patient flow by providing timely check-in procedures upon arrival
• Instruct new patients in completion of medical information forms
• Maintain accuracy of patient demographic and insurance information
• Accurately post payments and provide receipts to patients
• Reconcile daily receipts and money collected with end of day reports
• Notify and promote the patient portal with patients
• Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality per HIPPA guidelines
• Sorting and distributing incoming mail
• Perform medical coding and billing tasks for non-insurance claims
• Contact patient on a monthly basis regarding past due balance
