Job Description
Posterity Group LLC is seeking a Board Certified Perfusionist to join their team at the Malcom Randall VA Healthcare System. This role involves assisting with by-pass surgical cases and valve replacement, operating heart and lung machines, preparing equipment for extra-corporeal circulation, and maintaining sterile environments. The Perfusionist will be responsible for patient record review, equipment maintenance, and operation of VA equipment.
Requirements
- Certified with at least five (5) years of experience
- Graduate of an accredited Allied Health Education Program School of Perfusion Technology
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Allied Health Education Program School of Perfusion Technology
- Must be certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion
- Demonstrated evidence of continuing education requirements
- Minimum of 1000 clinical cases
