Job Description
The Assembler ensures quality by following standard work/process instructions and identifying any potential risks to product quality. They follow blueprints, work instructions, or diagrams to assemble products using various tools and equipment.
Requirements
- Build and assemble mechanical components for Switchgear and/or Breaker units according to engineering drawings and customer specifications.
- Perform maintenance and proper use of tools.
- Perform in process inspections; ensure quality by following standard work instructions and identifying any potential risks to product quality.
- Perform all ship prep functions including splitting gear.
- Promote a safety culture as well as attend all safety meetings.
- Ensure that work areas remain clean and well organized.
