The Engineering Manager will be a functional and strategic leader, providing technical and engineering resource input to new business proposals/opportunities, managing overall electrical and mechanical engineering workload, and ensuring proper records and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, master’s degree preferred
- 10+ years of related engineering experience, including team leadership experience directing a team of engineers
- Knowledge of HVAC and Cooling highly desirable
- Knowledge of medium and low voltage power distribution equipment
- Knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, NEC and other industry applicable standards and codes
- Knowledge of power system analysis and associated calculations
- Familiarity with power system components and their application/specification
- Familiarity with computer aided design tools including CAD; Parametric and BIM modeling tools
- Excellent organization, supervisory, managerial and leadership skills to manage a team of engineers and technical staff
- Familiarity with ISO policies and safety regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as interpersonal skills
- Proven multitasking skills and can work in fast-paced, high demand environment
- Excellent analytical and computational skills
