Job Description
Hawkins, Inc./WaterSurplus is a trusted and well-known leader in the chemical industry. The Electrical Engineering Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating electrical engineering for all products.
Requirements
- Manage a team of electrical designers and engineers
- Recruit, coordinate, and evaluate team members
- Develop detailed plans and schedules for projects
- Complete electrical engineering design, PLC programming, and hardware selection
- Collaborate with cross-functional and production teams
- Direct, review, and approve electrical designs and programming
- Maintain electronic files and drawing updates
- Assist field service with control system troubleshooting
- Develop budgets, schedules, cost estimates, bids, and contracts
- Review financial statements and performance metrics
- Participate in strategic business planning
- Negotiate and secure customer approval for product designs or changes
- Prepare and present proposals, reports, and findings to customers
