Job Description
As the Low Voltage Systems Estimator, you will have the unique opportunity to work directly with our vendors, business development team and design teams to produce accurate bid packages for all of our low voltage systems. This critical role in the low voltage systems division is based at our corporate headquarters in St Petersburg, Fla., and positioned for exponential growth.
Requirements
- Manage the estimating process from beginning to end, including timelines, deadlines and estimating packages.
- Communicate with vendors and clients to build relationships, define the project scope, address any deficiencies and negotiate pricing.
- Research quotes for material and labor from our suppliers and subcontractors.
- Continuously follow up on all bid projects and accurately forecast future awards.
- Partner with Power Designs construction project management team to properly transfer awarded projects.
- Stay up-to-date with current technology trends in low voltage systems.
