Audiologist

The Audiologist will provide specialized, holistic assessment and goal-orientated treatment through a patient-centered model of care. They will provide high-quality Audiology services across various service areas, including neurology and neurosurgery, ENT, and pediatrics.

Requirements

• Provides specialist, critically reasoned and holistic, Audiology assessments for inpatients and outpatients
• Provides audiological diagnostic support to ENT clinics
• Provides vestibular assessment to support ENT clinic
• Provides neonatal hearing screening and follows up test to support neonatologist
• Provides analysis, assessment, and interpretation of a broad spectrum of adult diagnostic and rehabilitation, and some pediatric test results
• Provides goal-orientated, evidence-based and clinically reasoned treatment plans/recommendations
• Identifies, recommends, prescribes, and implements suitable assistive hearing devices
• Takes an active role within the development of the Audiology service
• Provides effective and safe patient (and family) education
• Advocates the benefits of Audiology and assistive hearing devices
