Cost Control Engineer

The Cost Control Engineer coordinates cost capturing, monitoring, and forecasting for assigned projects, ensuring proper documentation and delivery of cost-control services and financial support.

Requirements

• Monitor and control project costs
• Maintain planned and actual cost schedules
• Implement departmental policies and procedures
• Manage cost control on site
• Process and approve financial transactions
• Develop cost structures and allocate costs to designated items
• Perform cost analysis and advise management on cost over-runs
• Produce job cost reports
• Assist in the production of monthly job cost reports
• Review and ensure timely invoicing
• Observe safety, quality, health, and environmental procedures
• Create budget transfer requests and provide feedback on alternative methods of construction
• Provide accurate calculations of budget transfers
