Draftsman

The Draftsman develops and plans drawings and sketches using AutoCAD software, preparing visual depictions of products for manufacturing and ensuring designs comply with relevant building codes and regulations.

Requirements

• Work within project timelines to deliver drawings and designs on schedule.
• Address design challenges and propose solutions to ensure functionality and manufacturability.
• Effectively communicate design ideas and changes with the design team and other stakeholders.
• Prepare technical drawings and design documents, including architectural drawings, electrical or mechanical components, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure construction aligns with technical drawings.
• Maintain an organized system for storing and retrieving technical drawings and design documents.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Present design concepts and technical drawings to project teams or clients as needed.
• Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies.
• Lead and support teams in enhancing competencies through facilitating effective coaching and mentoring.
• Support the implementation of cost control measures and strategic planning through data analysis and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and team members to convey financial information clearly and provide recommendations for cost management and optimization.
