The Finance Director directs the day-to-day financial activities of the organization; controls its financial resources and ensures that all financial transactions, systems, and procedures comply with regulations, accounting principles, and standards.
Requirements
- Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
- Coordinate, analyze, and report the financial performance to Management and the Board of Directors (financial performance, projections, and other special projects as required).
- Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties.
- Implement a robust contracts management and financial management/reporting system; ensures that contract billing and collection schedule is adhered to and that financial data and cash flow are steady and support operational requirements.
- Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning; administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitors progress and changes and keep the senior leadership team abreast of the organization’s financial status.
- Analyze and classify risks and investments to determine their potential impacts on companies.
- Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting and collection procedures, and investment activities, and make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets, and other financial control functions.
- Establish procedures for custody and control of assets, records, loan collateral, and securities, to ensure safekeeping and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices.
- Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies
