Intern

To engage in various work assignments, projects, and activities of varying complexity to gain necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform at a professional level.

Requirements

• Provides entry- to intermediate-level professional services under supervision
• Undertakes and/or participates in projects and programs to develop professional skills
• Participates in planning and implementation of unit projects and initiatives
• Interacts directly with colleagues, clientele, and/or other internal or external constituencies
• Receives guidance, training, and mentoring from professional personnel
• Conducts original research and prepares reports based on findings
• Provides day-to-day guidance and support to student employees and/or interns
• Undertakes related studies or enrichment programs as appropriate
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
