Logistics Supervisor

The Logistics Supervisor oversees and coordinates logistics operations, ensuring efficient transportation, distribution, and storage of goods and materials. The role involves managing a team of logistics personnel, planning and scheduling logistics activities, and implementing process improvements.

Requirements

• Ensure effective and timely implementation of all Logistics daily operational goals.
• Maintain and manage relations with warehouses, carriers, customs broker, and customers.
• Negotiate and support logistics costs meant for 3rd party logistics providers.
• Ensure that all parties are working together to guarantee that shipments are packed, sent and delivered in a timely manner.
• Establish and manage relations with warehouses, carriers, customs broker, and customers.
• Ensure customers receives their products/materials in a timely manner and good condition.
• Communicate effectively with clients and responding to their requirements.
• Plan internal and external logistics routes through the project phases focusing on separation of vehicles, machinery and people.
• Pre-plan the usage of key assets such as hoists to ensure planned assets meet the needs of the program.
