Procurement Engineer

The Procurement Engineer is responsible for overseeing the purchase of technical equipment for industrial operations, collaborating with designers, researching vendors, and ordering equipment.

Requirements

• Develop procurement management strategies and practices
• Collaborate with designers to determine equipment needs
• Research vendors for equipment
• Order equipment
• Develop strategic plan to capture total procurement value
• Create and implement best practice procurement vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures
• Engage with stakeholders to develop strong relationships
• Support senior functional leaders to establish business objectives

• Maintain and update information of suppliers, materials, and services
