Structural Engineer

The Structural Engineer performs tasks such as managing documentation, designing new builds, and ensuring older structures remain safe. They also design renovation schemes to ensure long life for existing structures.

Requirements

• Plan and conduct independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
• Analyze and configure the basic structural components of a building or other structure for ensuring the quality of design.
• Ensure to review the design criteria and ensure adequacy of design.
• Ensure to analyze and review the loading plan and ensure compliance with codes and the project operational purpose.
• Ensure to determine the pressures that each component will experience from other parts of the structure.
• Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies
