Job Description
The Applications Engineering Intern will support the Applications engineering team with hands-on board-level testing, debugging, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) validation activities, providing practical exposure to power electronics behavior and compliance-related testing under the guidance of experienced engineers.
Requirements
- Assist with DER board power-up, testing, and debugging
- Capture and analyze electrical waveforms using lab instruments
- Support surge testing activities, including test setup preparation, execution observation, and result documentation
- Assist with EMC testing, including radiated and conducted emissions pre-compliance testing
- Support ESD testing setup and evaluation to assess board-level robustness
- Help identify anomalies in test results and support root-cause investigation under supervision
- Document test procedures, results, and observations for internal reference and training materials
