Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Digital Design Manager, this Digital IC Design Engineer will work in our Cambridge office to provide solutions for the digital elements of mixed signal products, including development of functional digital blocks, behavioral models, and test benches. The role will involve collaboration with the IC Design and Product Definition teams to meet all specification requirements and support silicon evaluation and product validation activities.
Requirements
- MSc/MEng or PhD in Electronics Engineering or related subject
- Minimum 2 years' experience in digital IC design using standard cell libraries
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of best-practice digital design methods
- Experience with SystemVerilog, TCL, and scripting languages
- Familiarity with constraints and automatic place-and-route flow for physical design
- Understanding of production test and design methods to maximize test coverage
- Experience with design techniques for optimising digital power consumption
- Debugging digital functions in a lab using suitable test equipment
