Project Coordinator (Civil Engineering)

We are seeking a Project Coordinator (Civil Engineering) to assist our client with project activities, subcontractors, scheduling, record keeping, and liaison with clients/owners and contract administrators. The job responsibilities may vary and will be assigned based on the individual's experience in tunnelling, shaft construction, sewer/watermain installation, and other relevant project management and estimating experience.

Requirements

• A bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with eligibility to be certified as a Professional Engineer in Ontario is an asset.
• A diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from a recognized institution or equivalent hands-on experience in the field.
• 2-year minimum project/site management experience in heavy construction is a requirement. Experience in tunnelling and shaft construction is preferred.
• Proficiency in software used daily in construction: Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, Primavera, Adobe, AutoCAD, HeavyJob or similar will be considered an asset.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work a full construction day up to 12 hours when necessary with the possibility of occasional night and/or weekend work being required.
• The physical capability of being able to frequently climb access ladders in shafts and enter tunnels.
• A vehicle and a valid drivers license for work related travel.
