Power Generation Equipment Field Technician (Commercial, Electrical Controls, Mechanical, Microgrid)

We are looking for a Power Generation Equipment Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Commercial Generators, Low/Medium Voltage Switchgear, or Battery Storage Equipment. We offer continuous training and multiple levels of technician advancement.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Three years of field experience servicing generator systems
• Proficient with preventative maintenance, retrofitting basic controls, minor ATS repairs and loadbanking equipment
• Ability to perform triennial maintenance, engine diagnostics, fuel system priming and replacing failed engine components
• Operational and functional understanding of Automatic Transfer Systems
• Ability to read and decipher electronic schematics and troubleshoot discreet mechanical and electronic systems
• Experience with or ability to quickly learn advanced generator and electric system controls
• Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
