Electrical Technician - High Voltage Lab

The High Voltage lab conducts distribution and transmission level high voltage tests on various equipment and offers qualification and certification tests, custom testing solutions, and condition assessment tests.

Requirements

• Good working knowledge of electrical analysis procedures, testing standards, and quality assurance principles
• Working knowledge of calibration and troubleshooting related instrumentation
• Good knowledge of related testing standards and procedures
• Good analytical skills
• Ability to modify existing test methods to perform unique tests or achieve different results
• Ability to demonstrate and train technical staff on specific testing techniques
• Good written and verbal communications skills
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Basic report writing skills
• Basic knowledge of related safety and WHMIS regulations
• Basic knowledge of MS Office applications
