Senior Engineer - Electromagnetic Simulation

We are seeking a Senior Electromagnetic Simulation Engineer with deep expertise in ANSYS Maxwell and low-frequency electromagnetic (EM) field modeling. You will lead advanced simulation efforts to study, analyze, and optimize electromechanical systems and electrical protection devices using 2D/3D finite element methods (FEM).

Requirements

• Develop and execute advanced 2D and 3D electromagnetic simulations using ANSYS Maxwell for low-frequency EM applications
• Model and analyze arc flash phenomena, transient EM behavior, and coupled electromagnetic–mechanical effects
• Apply finite element methods (FEM) techniques to calculate: Magnetic and electric field distributions, Electromagnetic forces and torque, Capacitance and inductance, Eddy currents and losses
• Conduct parametric studies and design optimization to improve device performance and reliabilility
• Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers to support product development, troubleshooting and root-cause investigations
• Validate simulation results using analytical calculations and experimental or test data
• Prepare clear and comprehensive technical reports including methodologies, assumptions, results and recommendations
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to developing best practices, workflows, and standards for electromagnetic simulation
