Senior SQL Database Administrator (TS/SCI Required)

Role Overview

Praescient Analytics is seeking a Senior SQL Database Administrator to provide comprehensive database management for the Data Capabilities Division (DCD). The role ensures the performance, integrity, and security of databases supporting custom.NET applications within the Army Intelligence enterprise.

What You Will Do

Perform daily system checks, maintain healthy and reliable data replication, apply DISA STIGs, optimize code and stored procedures, develop and test backup and recovery plans, and provide operational support.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in SQL database administration, 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server in High Availability Group configurations, and 3 years of experience implementing security measures in accordance with industry best practices and DISA STIGs.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in SQL database administration supporting production environments
• 5 years of experience installing and configuring Microsoft SQL Server in High Availability Group configurations
• 5 years of experience with T-SQL, including writing scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and views to automate maintenance
• 3 years of experience serving as a team leader, managing task progress, and mentoring junior personnel
• 3 years of experience implementing security measures in accordance with industry best practices and DISA STIGs
• Active TS/SCI Level Security Clearance (U.S. Citizen)
• Current DoDD 8140.01 (formerly DoDD 8570.01-M) certification – IAT Level II (or higher)
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MSCA) or SQL Server 2016 or SQL Database Administration Certification
