Senior Database Administrator

Role Overview

The Senior Database Administrator serves as the senior technical expert for Remedy/SQL database design, development, and management. This position is accountable for all aspects of database services, providing administration and management of database, clustering, and replication infrastructure (MS SQL Server) across development, quality control, pre-production, and production environments.

What You Will Do

Provides administration and management of MS SQL Server database, clustering, and replication infrastructure. Conducts proactive monitoring of databases to manage performance and capacity. Performs database maintenance activities, including backup and recovery, updates to service packs and patches, and performance optimization.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must possess an active Top Secret (TS) security clearance at the time of proposal submission and be able to attain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access by the issuance of the contract. Must be willing to undergo and pass a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph. Must be a U.S. Citizen to obtain and maintain the required government security clearance.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance
• Sufficient expertise in the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP), Army Intelligence, and Microsoft Office and SharePoint
• MCSA: SQL Server Certification
• Security+ Certification
• 8-12 years' hands-on experience in MS SQL Server database administration, design, and development
