Job Description
The Audio-Visual Technician supports the installation, configuration, and maintenance of AV and IT systems for broadcast and studio equipment. This role involves assembling and repairing hardware, running cables, and troubleshooting technical issues. The position requires an eagerness to learn and a willingness to upgrade skills.
Requirements
- Experienced with assembling / disassembling, testing, troubleshooting and repairing computers / hardware
- Knowledge of installing and soldering components on printed circuit boards following specifications
- Basic knowledge of installing operating systems, Windows and Linux
- Basic understanding of a television control room environment
- Basic understanding of photography concepts like aperture, shutter speed, ISO speed, exposure and camera lenses
- Basic knowledge operating a video camera
- Basic understanding of sound equipment like microphones and audio mixers
