Job Description
The AV Trainer / Technician will serve a dual purpose within the organization: as a trainer preparing future AV technicians and as an operational AV Technician. This role requires technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a commitment to professional growth. Occasional travel, potentially lasting several weeks, is a requirement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing AV and IT hardware.
- Strong ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Experience in mentoring, training, or teaching, preferably in a technical or AV-related field.
- Familiarity with multimeters and basic understanding of AC/DC circuitry.
- Competence in configuring and installing Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with audio/visual equipment, including television control room environments and Chroma Key technology.
- Proficiency in handling, testing, and troubleshooting cabling systems.
- Demonstrated willingness to stay updated on evolving technologies and enhance technical skills.
