Job Description
ARRISE is seeking a Database Developer to design, code, and implement software solutions using modern SQL technologies. The role involves working with RDBMS systems, providing database development assistance, and ensuring high-quality software delivery, supporting a team and mentoring junior developers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of PostgreSQL, Pg/SQL development experience.
- Shredding, changing and understanding older code without needing to know everything about business processes.
- Query performance analyzing and tuning.
- Experience with high loaded OLTP systems.
- Experience with very large databases.
- Experience with design, development, and maintenance of reporting and data warehouse databases a plus.
- Experience with migrating schemas and data from Oracle to other RDBMS a plus.
- Basic DB administration experience.
- Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding.
- Familiarity with programming languages API.
- Problem solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
- Experience with Amazon Redshift, RDS, Aurora is a plus.
