Aquatics and Outdoor Pursuits Coordinator

The Aquatics and Outdoor Pursuits Coordinator develops and implements aquatics and outdoor recreational programs for students at Prairie View A&M University, including hiring, training, and supervising student staff. Responsibilities include scheduling, budgeting, and evaluating program effectiveness. The position requires a bachelor's degree and three years of related experience in campus recreation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Three years of related experience in campus recreation, including supervisory experience
• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance and program development
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
• Excellent customer service and assessment skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• American Red Cross certifications, such as Adult CPR and AED, First Aid, and Lifeguard Instructor
