Tenure Track position responsible for supporting the Kinesiology and Physical Education program, including teaching, research, and service. The position requires a Ph.D., Ed.D., or Dr. P.H. in Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Health and Human Performance, or a closely related field, and one to three years of teaching experience in Higher Education.
Requirements
- Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Kinesiology-related areas
- Conducting scholarly activities, including research
- Providing service to the department, college, and university
- Designing and revising curricula to align with current disciplinary standards and accreditation criteria
- Integrating advanced instructional technologies into teaching
- Supervising student research projects and internships
- Developing new course modules in areas such as Athletic Training and Biomechanics
- Establishing a focused research agenda and securing external research funding
- Publishing in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals
- Mentoring undergraduate and graduate students in research design and data collection
- Presenting scholarly findings at regional, national, and international conferences
- Serving on departmental and university committees
- Providing mentorship to student organizations
- Collaborating with colleagues in interdisciplinary initiatives
- Developing community-based partnerships and outreach programs
- Contribute professional expertise to public seminars and wellness campaigns
